Selam Hiwot Integrated Children and Community Support Organization is an indigenous, non-political, non-profit making NGO, that was registered under Oromia Regional Government, Justice Bureau in 1998 G.C established in 2002 by affectionate individuals from among the community with the aim to help poor and vulnerable children in particular and destitute families and community members in general.

The organization was also registered under the Ministry of Justice of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in 2002 and has been given the registration code number 661. it has been operating as per the operational agreement it entered with Oromia Disaster Prevention and preparedness Commission, Education, Health, Labor and Social affairs, and Agriculture and Rural Development Bureaus

Currently the organization has registered under the charities and societies agency and has been given the re-registration code No 0381

Our Mission

The organization has a mission to significantly contribute in reduction of poverty. illiteracy human mortality and morbidity, social discrimination and harmful traditional practice through self- help promotion focusing mainly on poor and vulnerable children target areas with an integrated development approach.

The Outlook

Our Vission

Reduce poverty and hunger through promotion and support of self help initiatives in the area of food production and income generation capitalizing on existing potentials and opportunities for poor children, their families and community in a sustainable manner at certain target areas.
